Annel Gonzalez–After hosting a five-hour Practice LSAT on SHSU’s campus, the Junior Fellows traded their business suits for Sam Houston State gear in support of the Bearkat Football Team. We joined the tail- gate fun before the game, where we had delicious BBQ–courtesy of the SHSU Agriculture Department–and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
After the pre-game fun, the game was a lot of fun. We met up with the friends at halftime…
…watched the Homecoming show…
…and, later, met up with even more friends…
With all this fun, though, the action itself was almost anti-climactic. Although it began as a close contest, the Bearkats soon left the Cowboys in the dust…
In the end, the Bearkats trounced the Cowboys 45-10. SHSU is now ranked #5 in the nation.
The game was a great opportunity to take pride in our school, and have fun alongside the community, other students, staff, and faculty. The stadium environment was pure energy and excitement!
It was a lot of fun, and an enjoyable change of pace!
