The organization had a fun evening of baseball and politics with Astros’ broadcaster Milo Hamilton and former presidential speechwriter and author Curt Smith.
Smith was a very effective moderator/emcee, while Hamilton told interesting stories about his sixty-five years in the broadcasting business, where he’s worked for the Cubs, White Sox, Browns, Pirates, Braves, and Astros. Hamilton is perhaps best known for his call of Hank Aaron’s 715th home run, breaking Babe Ruth’s career record.
Afterward, we were able to get a picture with Hamilton.
A nice evening!
