The 2nd week of County U found the Junior Fellows and twenty-two local citizens at the Wynne Home, where participants learned about the job of the District Attorney. On hand to help explain the process were District Attorney David Weeks and 1st ADA Jack Choate.
This week is one of our most consistently popular weeks of County U, with participants demonstrating a particular interest in the legal process. An added treat is the ability to host the event at the Wynne Home, where participants can tour the home and view the art.
Participants also engage in a prosecution exercise in which they are given hypothetical scenarios and asked to work together as a prosecution team. The participants did a great job again this year, and we thank everyone for their participation.
